Touchstone Projects
Restoring Hope • Rebuilding Lives • Renewing Purpose
Touchstone Projects is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to bringing spiritual, emotional, and practical support to those who are incarcerated. We believe that every individual, regardless of their past, has the potential to rebuild their life and make a positive impact on the world around them.
Through our dedicated volunteers and life-changing programmes, we offer hope, skills, and guidance to help people transform their future and reintegrate into society with dignity and purpose.
Since our registration in 2007, Touchstone Projects has steadily expanded its reach. From extensive programmes inside detention centres across the UK to mentoring initiatives for young people and ex-offenders, our mission continues to grow — touching lives, one heart at a time.

🎭 Prisons, Young Offenders Institutes and Immigration Detention Centres
Music and drama play a vital role in our outreach. These creative platforms bring inspiration and motivation to individuals behind bars, helping them rediscover their self-worth and hope for change.
Through workshops and performances, we provide opportunities for self-expression and reflection, giving them tools and training to make a positive difference in their lives and in the world around them.
Hearts are being touched, and lives are being changed in prisons, immigration detention centres, and young offender institutions across the UK — from Gosport in the south of England to Carstairs in Scotland.

🤝 Building Relationships
Long-lasting change begins with genuine connection.
Our regular monthly programmes are strengthened by a personalised weekly correspondence course, which provides inmates and detainees with ongoing spiritual encouragement, emotional support, and a stable foundation on which to rebuild their lives. These sustained relationships remind them that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

🌱 YouthReach
The YouthReach initiative focuses on supporting vulnerable young people who are at risk of marginalisation, substance misuse, or criminal involvement.
Through counselling, mentoring, and creative engagement—including outreach and street theatre—our volunteers walk alongside these young people, offering them alternatives, hope, and guidance. YouthReach empowers them to navigate daily pressures and inspires them to grow into positive, contributing members of society.

🌟 Mentoring and Support Post-Detention
Support during detention is important — but what happens after release can shape the rest of a person’s life.
Our post-detention mentoring programmes ensure that the seeds of hope planted inside continue to grow outside. We provide practical coaching, personal mentoring, and spiritual encouragement, helping former inmates adjust, rebuild trust, and maintain a healthy and stable lifestyle.
Through compassion and consistent support, Touchstone Projects stands with individuals on their journey of redemption, restoration, and reintegration.
