At the heart of Touchstone Projects is our Prison Ministry, dedicated to bringing hope, dignity, and restoration to individuals living behind bars. We believe that no person is defined solely by their mistakes and that everyone deserves an opportunity to rebuild their life and discover a renewed sense of purpose.
Our volunteers regularly visit prisons, immigration detention centres, and young offender institutions to provide emotional, practical, and spiritual support. Through one-to-one mentoring, correspondence courses, Bible studies, music, drama workshops, and group activities, we create safe spaces where individuals can reflect, grow, and prepare for a positive future.
Many of those we support struggle with isolation, broken relationships, trauma, and a lack of hope. By building genuine relationships and offering consistent encouragement, we help individuals regain confidence, develop life skills, and believe in their ability to change.
Our ministry extends beyond prison walls. We maintain ongoing contact with many former inmates, helping them navigate life after release and supporting them as they reintegrate into society.
At Touchstone Projects, we believe that transformation is possible and that every life has value. Through compassion, encouragement, and practical support, we seek to restore hope and help people discover a new beginning.
We believe no person is beyond hope and every individual deserves a second chance.

YouthReach exists to support vulnerable young people who face difficult circumstances, social exclusion, family breakdown, substance misuse, or the risk of criminal involvement. We believe that every young person has unique potential and deserves the opportunity to grow, thrive, and become a positive influence within their community.
Through mentoring, counselling, educational support, and creative engagement programmes, our volunteers walk alongside young people during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. By building trusting relationships and providing guidance, we help them develop confidence, resilience, and positive life choices.
Our initiatives include community outreach, educational workshops, personal development activities, and creative programmes such as music, drama, and street theatre. These activities encourage self-expression, teamwork, and a sense of belonging while promoting healthy lifestyles and positive decision-making.
Many young people simply need someone to believe in them and provide encouragement when they face difficult circumstances. YouthReach seeks to be that source of support, offering practical help and long-term mentoring that can change the direction of a person’s life.
By investing in young people today, we are helping to build stronger families, safer communities, and brighter futures for generations to come.

The period immediately after release from prison or detention can be one of the most challenging times in a person’s life. Many former inmates face barriers such as finding employment, rebuilding relationships, securing accommodation, and overcoming feelings of isolation and uncertainty.
Touchstone Projects believes that support should not end when someone leaves detention. Through our Post-Detention Mentoring programme, we provide practical assistance, emotional encouragement, and ongoing guidance to help individuals successfully reintegrate into society.
Our volunteers offer one-to-one mentoring, helping former inmates develop confidence, establish positive routines, and make constructive decisions. We support individuals as they rebuild trust, reconnect with family, and create a stable foundation for their future.
We understand that meaningful change takes time and that everyone benefits from having someone who believes in their ability to succeed. Through consistent support and compassionate relationships, we help people overcome obstacles and move forward with hope and purpose.
Our aim is not only to reduce reoffending but also to empower individuals to become productive, valued members of their communities and to build lives marked by dignity, responsibility, and renewed opportunity.

Education has the power to transform lives, break cycles of poverty, and create opportunities for individuals and communities to thrive. At Touchstone Projects, we believe that access to education is one of the most effective ways to empower people and build lasting change.
Our Education Programmes support both children and adults through literacy initiatives, school support, adult education classes, and community learning projects. In areas where educational opportunities are limited, we provide resources, encouragement, and practical assistance to help people gain valuable knowledge and skills.
Our adult literacy programmes enable individuals to learn reading and writing skills, improving confidence and increasing opportunities for employment and personal development. We also support children through educational materials, school initiatives, and community learning activities that encourage lifelong learning.
Education is more than academic achievement. It provides people with hope, dignity, and the ability to make informed decisions that improve their quality of life and strengthen their communities.
Through partnerships with local leaders, volunteers, and supporters, we continue to invest in educational opportunities that empower individuals, strengthen families, and create a brighter future for generations to come.

Access to nutritious food is a basic human need, yet many individuals and families around the world continue to experience food insecurity and hardship. Touchstone Projects is committed to responding with compassion and practical support through our Food Programmes.
We provide meals, food parcels, and emergency assistance to vulnerable individuals and communities facing poverty, crisis, or social exclusion. Our programmes operate in partnership with local organisations, volunteers, and community leaders to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
Food has the power to bring people together, restore dignity, and provide comfort during difficult times. Whether serving meals to families, supporting community gatherings, or assisting those affected by hardship, we believe that every act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
Our food initiatives often work alongside our educational, mentoring, and community outreach programmes, helping to address immediate needs while building long-term relationships and opportunities for personal growth.
By providing practical assistance and showing compassion in action, we seek to bring hope, encouragement, and support to individuals and families while strengthening communities and promoting human dignity.

Good health is essential for individuals and communities to thrive. Unfortunately, many people living in disadvantaged communities have limited access to basic healthcare services and medical support. Touchstone Projects seeks to address these challenges through our Medical Camps and healthcare initiatives.
Working alongside healthcare professionals, volunteers, and local partners, we organise medical outreach programmes that provide health assessments, basic treatments, advice, and support to vulnerable communities.
Our medical initiatives aim to improve wellbeing, identify health concerns early, and offer practical assistance to individuals who may otherwise struggle to access healthcare services. We also provide health education and promote awareness of preventive care and healthy living practices.
Medical camps are often integrated with our wider community programmes, including education, food support, and community development initiatives, allowing us to provide holistic care that addresses both immediate and long-term needs.
At Touchstone Projects, we believe that everyone deserves access to care, compassion, and the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life. Through our medical outreach, we seek to bring hope, healing, and practical support to communities in need.
